The management team of Stryker DES has a combined 120 years of industry-leading experience across a broad spectrum of complex projects, including the handling and screening of forensic material from the September 11th attack on the World Trade Center and the demolition of rocket launch platforms at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

    Mark Klotzbach, Sr.

    President

    Mark F. Klotzbach, Sr. is President of Stryker DES. Mark holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Villanova University and served in the United States Army. Mark has over 40 years of experience in the construction, demolition and environmental remediation industry. He developed and managed global demolition and remediation programs since 1980, completing projects for Fortune 500 companies and governmental agencies including the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Department of Energy (DOE). Mark specializes in plant and selective demolition, dismantlement and decommissioning projects, involving the remediation of regulated and hazardous materials, including asbestos abatement. All phases of Stryker DES project management are facilitated by Mark.

    Mark Klotzbach, Jr.

    Vice President

    Mark F. Klotzbach, Jr. is Vice President of Stryker DES. Mark holds a degree in Business Administration/Finance from The College of Charleston. He spent six years working in the financial services in New York. Mark works throughout Stryker’s organization to ensure operational efficiencies.

    Joe Eichler

    Director of Business Development

    Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Desales University and has over 30 years of experience in the environmental management industry. His work experience includes decommissioning and asset recovery, site remediation, and waste reclamation & management. His roles varied from project director, project manager, site project administrator, and business development.

    Greg Klotzbach, CSP, CHST

    Environmental Health & Safety Director

    Greg leads the company's EHS initiatives and has been instrumental in advancing health and safety standards, showcasing our commitment to EHS management excellence. A BCSP Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST), he brings over a decade of experience in cultivating a culture where safety and well-being are paramount, empowering every employee to contribute. His expertise in regulatory compliance, safety program development, and a wide range of critical EHS areas has significantly reduced workplace incidents and improved employee training programs. Holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Fordham University, Greg is passionate about exceeding safety standards, positioning Stryker as a leader in workplace safety performance.

    Lloyd Copeland

    Strategic Business & Operations Manager

    Lloyd Copeland has over 30 years of industrial demolition and remediation experience. Lloyd has provided continuous service in the industrial demolition market since 1995, beginning his career in the DoD/DoE Government Owned Contractor Operated Sector, successfully completing projects in 49 states and 8 foreign countries. As a Special Projects Manager for Stryker, Lloyd leverages an expert level skill set as an Operator, Rigger, and Technician operating in challenging environments within industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemical, Clean Room, Food, and Nuclear/Conventional Power Generation to ensure safe and executable project design and oversight.

    Mica Kern

    Project Manager

    Mica Kern has over ten years of experience in the environmental remediation and demolition industry, and serves as a Project Manager at Stryker DES. His work focuses on complex demolition projects and asbestos and lead-based paint abatement, emphasizing compliance with OSHA and environmental safety standards. Mica's background includes roles in project design, scheduling, and budgeting, contributing significantly to our team’s ability to meet client needs efficiently and effectively.

    Chris White

    Senior Superintendent

    Chris brings more than 20 years of experience to his role as Senior Superintendent at Stryker DES, specializing in asbestos, lead, and mold abatement, as well as environmental remediation and demolition. His responsibilities encompass managing day-to-day operational aspects of projects, ensuring on-site safety, maintaining strict regulatory compliance, and overseeing project schedules. Chris’s extensive experience and leadership ensure that projects are executed safely and efficiently, aligning with client expectations and industry standards.

Our site specific Health and Safety (HASP) and Work Plans are reinforced in daily morning safety meetings.
